| As the class began and instructions were given, Tristan didn't move, instead watching the others playing around with the camera. Having his picture taken was something he hated and avoided at all costs, and now he had to do it for this lesson. Observing the others, he quickly picked up the means by which to operate the muggle item. He almost giggled at the sight of an older Slytherin jumping at the bright light that appeared, but suppressed it.
Picking it up for a third time, he mimicked the actions of another Slytherin and a Hufflepuff, managing to snap a picture of their Professor. Finding a need to blend in, he quickly stood up and walked over to a wall, where he stood, holding the camera. He didn't really know what else to do. |

| Natasha picked up her camera. She had already used a disposable camera before, and using it was pretty self-explanatory. She looked around to look at the others using it. She saw one Slytherin boy looked rather surprised by the flash and smiled a small smile. But she turned back to her camera and took a photo of a book case in the room.
She saw that there was another boy who she thought looked a little... lost. She stood up from her desk and walked over to him "Need any help there?" she asked kindly.

| As Tristan stood there, still holding onto the camera, he noticed a Ravenclaw girl near him. "Don't talk to me. Don't talk to me. Don't talk to me," he repeated mentally, looking away and closing his eyes. Maybe if he looked uninterested enough, she'd leave him alone.
"Need any help there?"
"Crap," he said aloud, blushing almost immediately. He hadn't meant it to come out. "I m-m-mean, uhm, s-s-sure, I guess," he corrected, stammering in his haste. As soon as it registered what he had said, he cursed himself. Why had he said yes? Was it that hard to say 'No, thank you'? Well, too late now, he thought. |

| So, they were taking pictures? That was all? Pfft, easy. Violet picked up her camera and expertly began to snap pictures. It was just so simple, Violet couldn't fathom how someone could not know how to use one of these cameras, even if they did grow up surrounded by only magic. You basically aimed and pressed a button. Oh well, at least she knew she'd get good marks. | |

| Thana only took this class because she knew she could have it as a "lazy" class, she was a muggleborn. So she knew all about muggle technology. She spotted Violet, her .....friend...of sorts, they had met at the Shrieking Shack, hearing they only had to take photos made Thana feel a lot better. She loved photography, she had even bought a camera on the holidays. She took thousands of photos as well, it wasn't just a plain camera she bought. It was a professional Photography camera.
It was one of her secret hobbies, photography. She picked a camera up and looked around for something to take a photo of. The window in the room gave her the answer. She stood back and quietly moved around the room, taking photos from different angles. Each time the photos came out amazing, the infrared in each camera was different. So each photo came out different, she took only three. All of which captured beauty in it essence. One was of the light coming through the window, the infrared in the camera made it beautiful. It captured the light perfectly, enabling the rays to come through. One was of the flash of another camera, it set off shadows to the wall behind which made it look magical.. Even though it was from a muggle camera, it captured the shadows and the shine given off from the flash. The third photo was of Violet, Thana took it when she spotted Violet walking past the window, Thana quickly snapped it. Showing and capturing what Thana believed to be Violets nicer side, she knew that portraiture was hard. But she managed to get a beautiful picture of Violet, the shadows from the window played on the younger girls features. Making her look, otherworldly. She didn't show anyone the pictures though, she just quietly put the camera back and stood at the back of the room. No doubt the teacher would see the photos, but she wouldn't know who had taken them.

| Joe listened to the teacher's instruction and picked up the disposable camera, turning it over in his hands once again. He saw a flash in his peripherals and turned around to see a somewhat startled looking Joshua Murray, something which entertained Joe a lot more than it should have. He sniggered to himself quietly, thankful that for once the Slytherin was showing some kind of emotion other than downright creepy, and bowed his head to hide the grin.
He turned around to watch his classmates, because that was what the Hufflepuff did best. Joe Astrid was an observer, not a partaker, and he didn't mind that one bit. He liked seeing people pose for a camera and not seem to care, because for a while it felt as though he didn't either. It was only when he remembered exactly who he was that the boy realised- yes, he really did.
The boy did his best to avoid anyone's eyeline, his fear of being on the other side of a camera making itself somewhat evident. He wasn't sat near any windows and had no intention of moving to be near one to take any pictures, far too scared that he would fall or stumble on the way and that someone would see. No, instead, the boy aimed the camera right at Murray and took the picture, the excuse forming in his head that the brickwork was astounding in the room they were in.

| Louise was pondering what to take a picture of next and was looking around, seeing people pairing up to pose for pictures then spotted Joe sitting on his own. She smiled and walked over and crouched down behind him, then when she felt the moment was right popped up in front of him and took a quick photo, grinning at him. "Got ya." She giggled "Do you think the Professor will mind us taking pictures of our Patronus's?" She asked him, thinking how well a patronus would show up on a camera, or if they'd show up at all, she assumed they would and really wanted to see how they'd turn out. | |

| A soft chuckle escaped from JC at the antics of the young boy and he smiled behind the camera as he snapped a few pictures. "You're a natural model kid you should look into doing commercials." The brunette laughed as he took a few more shots before tucking the camera away in his pocket. When the blonde boy had asked to take some shots of him Jacoby immediately returned his dimpled smile with a charming smirk of his own. "Oh don't worry about the music, I'm always jamming out in my head." Jacoby gave a soft chuckle as he gave the kid a few poses; most of which involved him flexing or lifting up his shirt to show off his abs. If one thing could be said about the Slytherin was that he enjoyed attention. | |

| Impressed with how quickly the students started taking pictures Idella sat back to watch, it seemed they had the hang of it and was just keeping an eye on the time, the second half of the lesson would be using the video camera, she picked up a pile of papers and began putting them down on the desks, each one had pieces of script for them to try out using the video camera to film. Some she knew the muggleborns and some of the half bloods would recognize. Looking at her watch she decided to leave them be for five more minutes to take pictures before beginning the second half of the lesson and giving out homework. | |

| Skye flashed his best smile, "I model," he said simply, "it helps that I can look however they want," Skye said as he made his eyes a bright green and his hair streaked blonde. Snapping as many pictures if the other boy Skye couldn't help but admire his abs. Secretly Skye hoped to be able to keep a few pictures of the older boy. "You'd look good in some of our shoots," Skye said after taking his pictures. "Maybe sometime we could jam together," Skye said as he slipped in front of the Slytherin. "I'm open anytime" | |

| October knew all about Muggle cameras considering she lived there, she knew exactly how to work it and would be more then happy to take pictures of random things. The Hufflepuff picked up her camera and began to observe it and eventually just started snapping random pictures. One was of the wall, then the window, then she happened to take a picture of the Professor, then just random little things. | |

| Mavis thought this was completely pointless and didn't know why anyone would actually want their picture to be taken with a Muggle camera. The woman teaching this subject was probably a squib and had nothing better to do then play with Muggle toys. The Slytherin picked up the damn camera and shot a picture and it happened to be of the desk she was at. The Slytherin scoffed, 'this was pointless' she thought to herself. | |

| Stacy knew how all these muggle cameras did work. She have used them before when she was younger. She took the camera in front of her. She looked around the class and wondered what she would pick to picture. She soon did few pictures of her professor and then just few random things in classes. She just didn't want to do pictures of someone who she really didn't know. She wasn't that good at taking pictures or modeling for them. Also she assumed that there isn't not much time for that any more left so she decided just picture some little things in this classroom. | |

| Josh had been sat glaring at his camera for a long time now, and he'd silently defied the professor as she asked them to work. The Slytherin slowly slid his wand from his pocket, only just peeking it over the top of the table as he muttered the incantation. "Confringo." The camera blew up the next moment, and Josh stood from his seat, not looking to see where the smoking camera ended up in the room.
Instead, the Slytherin moved to Louise by the window. Standing behind her close enough to block her in as his arms stopped her from moving sideways as his hands found purchase on the sill. He wasn't touching her in the slightest, merely blocking her from moving. "Something happened to my camera, Grey. I'm sharing yours." Josh told her, looking out the window to try to see what she was looking at. |

| Not expecting anyone to be close to her Louise jumped a mile when Josh was suddenly invading her personal space, coming almost nose to, well chest with him, but if she leaned up just a bit..No! She swallowed and held up the camera for him after winding the film to the right, hearing the click of it being ready. "Just point this at whatever you want to take a picture of and press this button." She was beet red and avoiding his eyes as best she could and remained unnaturally still. "Or I could take a picture of you?" | |

| "Just point this at whatever you want to take a picture of and press this button."
As Louise explained to him how the camera worked in a much better way than the professor had, not that he'd admit not knowing, Josh watched the movements. These things were much more complex than the magical kind. The magical kind just went off when you thought hard enough about it.
This was just... ridiculous.
"Or I could take a picture of you?"
"I don't think so." Josh replied, taking the camera from Louise's hand with his right hand, and holding it between them, facing her. Or, he would have, had it not gone off in his hand as he tried to turn it, taking a picture of, he guessed, Louise's shirt. Josh frowned, bringing the camera closer to him and winding it up like Louise had done.
Why did this Muggle crap have to be so... |

| She bit her lip trying not to laugh then took the camera back and held up the back to him. "Look through here and it will show you what picture you will take and the flash isn't so bright. Keep one eye closed to, you wont startle so bad then. Try again." She gave it back to him and smiled properly and waited for him to take another picture. | |

The more in depth explanation made Josh follow the steps given. He hadn't stepped away from Louise, but the boy held the camera up, the picture showing Louise's face, smiling up at him. The Slytherin contained the need to groan as he pressed the button, the click signifying the picture of Louise had been taken. "There." Josh stated, lowering the camera from his eye.
"Now..." Josh started, turning the dial thing until it stopped. He held it out to the side, pointing it at the two of them. Whether Grey was smiling, Josh didn't care, his usual smirk touched his lips as he looked down at Louise as opposed to the camera. The soft click once again announced the second picture had been taken. |

| Louise couldn't have stopped smiling even if she wanted to, she was far too amused by Josh's mastery of the camera to do much else. After he took the first picture and moved onto the second she looked up at him as he turned to her, letting him take a picture of the two of them. She imagined the picture would look like a real couple looking at each other, it was an oddly warming thought and her anger at him was momentarily forgotten. | |

| Idella kept an eye on the two Slytherins by the window, she was quite surprised that the Murray boy was taking more of an interest in her class now that the younger Slythrin, miss Grey, was with him. She wondered at that but not for long, spotting the rings but she made no comment on it. "Alright class, if you're finished with your cameras write your name on the back of them and I'll have the photos ready for you next lesson to pick up. For the rest of the lesson you can use the video cameras and have a go with them. I've left scripts on the table so you can take turns acting in front of the camera if you want to or you can improvise."
She picked one up and started showing what all the buttons did and how to use the effects on the camera. She left the instruction on the board in case anyone got stuck. "Mister Murray, Miss Grey try to keep a respectable distance from one another please, I don't care what you do out of sight but not in class please."

She smirked slightly at his blush, and his startled response "Well, it's very simple," she said. She held out her camera, pointing at the different parts, and explaining what they were "Because this is a disposable camera, it's not a very complicated one. All you need to do is turn this," she said "Until it clicks. Then you look through the lens bit, and aim it at what you want the picture to be. And just press the button," she finished her explanation and took a photo of the wall opposite "See?"

She turned back to Tristan excitedly "Oh, these camera's are awesome, they're like those moving paintings. With recorded sound and that," she hurried over to write her name on the camera before she picked up a script and a video camera and returned back to Tristan.

Looking away from Louise to the professor, Josh muttered something resembling "prude" under his breath. Taking a step back, Josh handed the camera back to Louise, it was hers after all. His own was somewhere in the room in more than a few hundred pieces. Muggle technology was stupid like that.
Without another word, Josh moved back to his desk, taking his seat and looking down at the camcorder. This was definitely new. Josh didn't touch the device, watching other people handling the cameras first so that he could learn what he needed to do with it. |

| As the girl taught him how to use the .... camera ... he began to relax. If everyone was this helpful he would be fine, but he also knew that there were some people to avoid, like that older Slytherin. Josh, he believed his name was. He was not a person Tristan would have liked to bumped into on the streets, and just because he was in Hogwarts, he felt no difference.
"Thank you," he said softly to the Ravenclaw just as she rushed away to the other camera. He would focus on this one first, and he imitated what she had taught him. Pointing it at a random bunch of students, he pressed the button and smiled. This was fun! He walked around a bit more, taking different pictures until he was satisfied. Returning to his desk, he wrote his name on it and picked up the second type. This was nothing like the previous one and he found himself even more confused. Looking around for the girl who helped him, he saw her and approached her. "Hi. Uhm, could you please help me with this?" he asked quietly. |

| Thana had done as much as she wanted to. She took her pictures, she didn't need to bother about the camcorder. She already knew how to use it. She sat down at her desk, pulled out a book and a pen and started drawing yet again. She couldn't help it, class got boring. She drew, oblivious to what was going on around her, she knew Josh had trouble with this class. That was the problem with Pure Bloods, they weren't as smart as they thought they were. She smiled as she noticed him sitting down not knowing how to use the camcorder. | |

| When Cass had finished taking photos of random things, she followed the teacher's instructions and picked up a camcorder and a script. She looked around to see if there was anyone who was without someone so she could film. Regardless, she looked for the 'on' switch and began just to record around the classroom casually. Her parents had a camcorder, and she remembered being younger, around eight, and just harassing her parents to let her use it so she could make silly little videos at home of herself, which were hilarious to look back on. | |
