| Katherine was about to teach her last class of the day, it hadn't been that long of a day it actually went by pretty quick if you asked her. The Professor waited at the front of her class for her students to show up so she can begin to teach them the Finite Incantatum Charm. Katherine knew that they needed to have this Charm covered before they left the school and headed off on their own. | |

| Mavis made her way to Charms and saw that once she walked in that she was the only person there besides the Professor. Mavis didn't like being the first one to ever be in the class but apparently someone had something against her because she walked into a studentless classroom. The Slytherin groaned and walked in and took a seat. She completely ignored the Professor and seriously waited. | |

| Charms was the next on the Head Boy's timetable, and with the day going quite slowly already, Josh really hoped that they had something fun lined up. Heading up to the third floor, Josh slipped in to the classroom noticing that there was only one other student so far.
Josh didn't acknowledge his fellow Slytherin, nor the professor, merely taking a seat and waiting for the lesson to begin as he crossed his arms over his chest. |

| As she walked into Charms she noticed that there was two other people there and that was both Josh and Mavis, two Slytherins who could be cruel to anyone and anything. Shiva didn't lose her good mood and took a seat in the class and smiled at the Professor. "Hi Professor Zanderson" she greeted to the blonde woman, who she knew was Head Girl and a Hufflepuff in her year. | |

| It was strange, Joe realised, that when the days grew shorter, the time seemed to drag that much more. It was a fleeting thought that had come to him as he slipped through the door into his charms classroom, the tiredness he always seemed to feel in the winter threatening to show through his eyes as he took a seat.
A curt nod and a smile of respect went in the general direction of his professor as he glanced around the room, noticing three other students, none of whom Joe was comfortable conversing with, and soon enough he faced the front again. The Hufflepuff could feel himself becoming drowsy, and he had to physically force himself to stay focused. He would be fine once the class began, but waiting in the silence was always a challenge for his mind.

| The last class of the day, Rhian thought. She'd stayed up late studying the night before, and her feet were dragging this late in the afternoon. There were a few potions she was having trouble remembering the details of. How many times to stir, which direction, exactly how small do those bits have to be...the usual. With so much information they needed to know, it was a wonder they weren't all walking fountains of knowledge.
As it was, she was flipping through some note cards she'd made for various odds and ends she was currently studying. Walking into class, she sent a small smile to the professor before sitting at the nearest seat. Class would start soon, but she'd still have a few minutes to learn just one more use for this spell...

| The Gryffindor walked into the classroom that just so happened to be Charms. He took a seat and waited for the class to begin, Bryson didn't know what the lesson was going to be about but he was sure that everyone in the room didn't know besides the Professor. Bryson looked around at his classmates before his brown eyes once again faced the front of the class. | |

| Katherine watched as the same students piled into her room, she was glad to know that these students had made it this far and would be graduating that year, she loved to see her students succeed. Katherine decided to begin her class. "Hello and welcome back from your weekend, so all of you will be graduating this year which I am highly excited for, so today we will be going over the Finite Incantatum Charm, who can tell me a little about this?" Katherine asked, waiting for someone to answer. | |

| Looking around the classroom, Rhian was surprised to find that this was the first class in a while that was strictly her year. Professors had generally decided that group lessons were a more productive route, so it was seldom that one year would be singled out. As the professor began to speak, she figured it was done on purpose.
Honestly, she was a bit surprised at the simplicity of the spell choice, given their year. It had been in their Standard Book of Spells in second year, but she didn't need to point that out. Not one to openly question a lesson, she figured there was a reason behind it.
Raising her hand, she waited to be called upon. "It's a general counter-spell. You can use it in duels, for a one on one approach, or in a general area. Like while you're teaching and want to stop all spells in the classroom." There were probably loads of examples, but those were the only ones that came to mind right then.

| Josh listened to the question and then the answer given by Rhian. Deducing what information was left, Josh continued the explanation once Rhian was done with her explanation without raising his hand.
"The spell gives off a red light when cast correctly and the wand motion is the outline of a shield." He added to the explanation, it wasn't much use, seeing as the professor had given the incantation rather than the name of the spell, but it was a correct answer no less.
It was also a very basic spell, so basic in fact that if anyone failed this Josh would suggest they go and sit in the class with the first years. |
