Charms lesson 2 (year 7)

Katherine's last class of the day came quicker then she thought but that didn't matter to her, the blonde was all for it. She knew this lesson would come in handy if a fight was taken place in doors but that didn't matter, all spells she taught were ones that would be useful in the future. It was all the element of surprise that she wanted. Katherine walked into the classroom and once again with a flick of her wand the desks and chairs were in the corner and she was waiting for her students so she could teach them the Atmospheric charm.

The last time she was there she was alone with just the Professor, now when she walked in she kind of figured it would be a rush of deja vu. October saw that there was no seats or chairs but they were in the corner and she had a feeling she'd be standing for this class. October sighed and gave a small smile to the Professor before she waited for the class to begin so she could learn what was going to be happening.

Katherine saw as October came back for her class and was glad.for that, she had a lot of potential like all her other students. Katherine waited a few more minutes until she realized no one else was coming and decided to move the lesson along. "Hello October and welcome back to a new lesson for Charms, so for today we will be going over the Atmospheric Charm, now what can you tell me about that?"

October saw that no one else was coming to the class and wasn't shocked because this is what happened before and oddly she felt totally comfortable with all of this. When Professor Zanderson brought up what they would be doing that day October answered. "It modifies or creates weather conditions" The Hufflepuff answered. She had remembered reading up on the spell a few times and thought it was pretty cool.

Katherine waited for October to answer her question and when the Hufflepuff did, Katherine nodded. For a girl who acts shy and all, she is quite smart and is good at what she does. "Correct, 10 points to Hufflepuff, now for today I would like you to create a small twister in your hand and focus on controlling it, I don't want anything real big, keep it normal. You may begin" Katherine instructed.

October obeyed her Professor when she told the Hufflepuff to create a small twister in her hand. She took out her wand and held it in her one hand and her other hand was free for the twister. October began the spell and at first there was nothing until she felt her hair blow back a little and a small twister began to appear in her hand. The Hufflepuff now only needed to control this.

Just like at Salem with Charlie, October got it right on her first try, it was pretty impressive. She was also proud of her fellow Hufflepuff, she looked at the clock and saw it was time to wrap up the class. "Good work today October you did great. I'm afraid that's all we have time for today, I hope to see you back again for the next lesson. Bye" she dismissed her only student with a smile.
