Lets play. (Aragorn and Janique)

It had been several days since Aragorn had spoken to the mysterious girl name Janique, he was ready to scope her out more. He had followed his other prey for a while, a male graduate. He had been fun to manipulate, to hurt. Now Aragorn was ready to go back to Janique. Aragorn knew that Janique would be in the library on this night, he had found that out easily. He walked in and waited for her to come to him, like he knew she would. Of course she would, he had purposely sat in her usual library seat. Something he knew would grab her attention, lazily he opened a book and waited.

Walking into the library, she hid a smirk. Boys, she decided, were way too easy to manipulate. Creating a 'habit' for them to 'discover', a 'schedule' that she would never actually stick to. Yet, it always worked, because, in the seat that she had made her own for the past week, was her game, just sitting and waiting for her to arrive.

Sliding into the chair opposite him, she smiled. "Hey," she greeted. Would playing dumb be a smart move? She decided to roll with it, and added, "Fancy meeting you here," in an innocent tone.

"Fancy meeting you here,"


"Fancy that" Aragorn replied, she was way to innocent. Silly girl, she didn't know what she was getting herself into, she was playing with fire. "So it seems we meet again" Aragorn noted, casually moving over. He wanted to observe Janique again, to manipulate her emotions even more.

She almost laughed at the ease at which Aragorn was falling for all her lines. Almost, but she had control over her emotions, and so all she did was smile at him. "What are you studying?" she asked, allowing him the satisfaction of moving closer towards her.

It was humorous to her how open his body language was; she could read him like an open book in large print. When he responded to her signals - ones he didn't even know she was giving out - she saw it as clear as day. When he made a move, in what she assumed he thought was a subtle manner, she saw straight through it and responded accordingly. She was sure, however, that he thought he was good. And, she decided, inching closer to him, what harm could it do to keep letting him think that?

"What are you studying?"


Aragorn looked at the girl, she was asking what he was studying? "Nothing interesting, just some muggle fantasy book the library thought to get" he replied. Watching as she sat down, he raised an eyebrow. Like a moth to flame she was being drawn in, everyone always ways. Males and Females, anyone that took his interest. He enjoyed breaking people emotionally, especially the quieter ones. They always had more to hide, like his two newest prey.

"Nothing interesting, just some muggle fantasy book the library thought to get"

"You read muggle books?" she asked, playing the part of a curious girl. Taking in his posture, she wondered what his next move would be; if he'd pick up the pace. She had been tossing him clues, but maybe she had overestimated him. He didn't seem to be very good at the whole subtle thing. Still, a game was a game, and this boy had picked up many people before.

"Sorry about disappearing that day," she added, deciding to kick things up a notch, give him an opportunity to ask questions.

"You read muggle books?"

"Why the tone of surprise? My parents were both Muggleborns, I just find it unfortunate. " he answered, normally he wouldn't even be speaking this long to one person. He would give a few comments in passing, leaving them to the danger of their own mind.

"Sorry about disappearing that day,"

"Its alright, innocent girls like to get to class" he replied narcissistically, she was making this too easy. "So tell me about yourself Janique, who are you?" he asked, wanting to know her answer.

"Why the tone of surprise?

"No reason," she shrugged, but he continued with information about his family. So she was dealing with a muggleborn... That would make things a whole lot easier. They tended to be more cocky, more likely to take risks, and that was exactly what would lead to their demise. He was prideful, that much she already knew, and that would be the exact button she'd use to break him. But not yet; she had to make sure he actually fell for her. That was where her veela blood came in handy, not that anyone knew she was partially veela. She kept it a secret for that exact reason.

"So tell me about yourself Janique, who are you?"

I'm the one person you'll regret meeting, she thought to herself, pretending to think for a few moments before answering. "I'm me, I guess." It was a pathetic answer, but as she blinked up at him and let her perfected confused look cross her face, she knew it had been the right choice. "I don't really know how to answer that," she added softly, making her tone light and buttery without it being obvious what she was doing.

Aragorn shook his head at her response, this was going to be fun. Even funner than what he thought, "No . who are you really? " he asked, leaning in dangerously close. "WHO .......ARE........YOU" he whispered right in her face, before getting up and walking away. This game was getting interesting, very interesting. Aragorn left the girl to her own thoughts, now the fun part was about to happen.

The overdramatisation of his question made her roll her eyes - once she made sure he had left. Merlin, if only all her games had been this easy. Still, she thought as she pulled out her homework, it was a change from the amount she normally had to do. The next time they met, she would turn up the charm, flash more deeper smiles and flirt. Draw him in, as he thought he was drawing her in. Only, she knew what he was doing; he was clueless.

A smirk on her face, she dipped her quill into the pot of ink and began writing her Herbology essay. This game was in the bag, so she felt no need to plan anything.
