| Down the stairs he went, knowing that today he was back on the old routine. He took advantage of the time he could to go split his time between Salem, Hogwarts, and then the Ministry. It was stressful, so much so he hadn't even bothered to plan the wedding to Teagan. Both had agreed that was on hold until they could start planning in the summer, away from school and in the haven they had built together.
His lip twitched at the thought and pushed the door open to his classroom. He was relieved to see that everything was on point. The tables were wiped of any remnants of previous classes, the scent of cleanliness everywhere. He sighed satisfied and walked over to the cage where the Doxies were already fighting to get out. | |

| Knowing it was the last round of lessons for the year made Victoria both happy and sad. Happy because there were likely tests coming their way, but sad because soon there would be a number of months without the structured joy of learning.
Opening the door carefully, Victoria noted the professor at the front of the room and gave him a warm smile. "Good morning, professor!" The witch greeted as she took up her usual seat at the front of the room, pulling out her book to be ready for the class to begin. |

| Brayden loved classes and potions was one of those classes he loved to attend. The Belladonna walked into potions and saw that only one other student was there. "Morning" he greeted to both the Professor and the older Wormwood girl. He didn't remember her name but if he heard her say it he'd feel stupid for not knowing who she was. Brayden took a seat and waited for the class to start. | |

| Ares walked into Potions and instantly saw Brayden and took a seat next to him. He didn't want to be alone but since his friend was already there why not? The Wormwood got out what he thought he'd need for this class. He didn't see his older sister anywhere so he just focused on this. Ares waited for the class to begin. | |

| As usual, Victoria was the first person to appear, and he couldn't help but smile at her. Her cheery nature was so similar to what Tess had been at one point in her life before life happened. He could tell that being sheltered worked wonders in life before reality happened. Shaking his head of his thoughts, he greeted the young girl and waited for others to come in as well. Only two more came after that, Mr. Court and Mr. Oxton, and it seemed a waste to wait for others. If they came late, then so be it.
He moved his hand, the doors closed immediately and he cleared his throat signaling it was lesson time. Walking over, he removed the cover from the creatures and waited for the students to figure it out on their own.
"Welcome to the last lesson of the year, now, can anyone tell me what these are, and what could possibly be their purpose in the classroom today?"

| As the class began, Victoria's attention snapped up to Professor Holmes, listening intently as she sat on the edge of her seat. When the cover on the cage was taken off, the Wormwood's features lit up at what she saw. She knew instantly from her copious amounts of reading of the Care of Magical Creatures textbook, not to mention the years she'd been spending helping out the professors.
So when the question came up, Victoria's hand shot up instantly, waiting only to be called upon before she spoke. "Sir, they are doxies." Victoria told him, pausing to think over what he'd said, there was no comment about part answers, so the witch continued, though her nerves showed because she didn't want him to be mad for her continuing. "Their use could be to see as to whether we have correctly created the Doxycide potion in class today." She offered in answer to his second question. |

| Mycroft leaned back and didn't bother to look around to see who would answer. His hand immediately went to his star student, the one who jumped immediately to answer ever questions thrown at them. He did not know that she had a fascination with the annoying creatures from the look in her eye. Still as she began to speak he nodded with a hint of a smile at how quickly she guessed.
"Very good as usual Miss Newbury, five points to Wormwood. Now can anyone else expand on what Doxies are and what is their purpose, classifications etc?" he asked waiting to see what other students had to offer.

| Ares was amazed at what this lesson was going to be about and when Professor Holmes asked a question Victoria answered. He ten proceeded to answer another one and Ares decided he'd have a go at this. He raised his hand. "Doxies are often confused with fairies because of how similar the two are, doxies also are pests of some sort because they like to take over people's homes. They also bite" he answered. | |

| Alec bounced his leg up and down at his seat. He was anxious and he couldn't seem to concentrate. There were talking about Doxies right? Alec rose his hand. He knew a bit about them. "Doxies XXX creature as classified by the Ministry of Magic. They also prefer colder climates." Alec said and hoped he was right. Alec had a lump in his throat. Professor Holmes made him nervous. He seemed a lot like his own Dad. | |
