Josh wasn't in the slightest bit surprised as the Gryffindor followed him to the back of the room. He'd known she would because everyone was eager to please professors, even if the professors had no interest in teaching them.

As the Gryffindor raised her wand, speaking the incantation with the correct wand movement, Josh allowed the spell to do what it had to. It was a weird sensation that took hold of Josh, everything shrinking down to size slowly until he was looking out in only two colours on the world. All red had dissipated, leaving only green and blue in the world.

Josh Murray had been transfigured in to a small white rabbit, a blonde streak running along the spine to show the human transfiguration. But it was not that showed the rabbit to be that of Josh Murray, instead it was the glaring eyes of the rabbit as it looked up at Brooke that were undoubtedly that of the Slytherin.

The rabbit's eyes bored up at the witch, waiting for her to change him back to his usual form.

As the spell began to work, she watched Josh begin to shrink, wondering what kind of animal she had turned him into. It was only when the white fur and bushy tail appeared that she placed the animal, and she couldn't help but let out a giggle at the rabbit before her. It looked so cute, so innocent, and she wondered what the other prefect was thinking, having been transformed into something so cuddly.

It was then she noticed the eyes, as cold and calculating as it had been before the transformation, and she stopped giggling almost instantly. With a quick wave of the wand, she performed the counter spell, waiting for the rabbit to turn back into Josh. Once he had readjusted to being human again, she smiled at him and said, "Your turn, now."

Josh was... well, more than a little perplexed at the choice of animals, but after the giggling subsided in the Gryffindor she quickly reversed the spell and he was back on his feet, the same cold gaze on Brooke. She was far too amused with the whole ordeal and Josh simply was not.

"Your turn, now."

Without a word, Josh took out his own wand, muttering the incantation along with the wand movement and watching the spell hurtle towards the witch opposite him with little and less interest.

The moment the spell hit her she felt the changes start to occur, and she found the floor rising up to meet her. Her back curled around itself and her hands and legs shrunk back, forming four paws. She landed, upright, and blinked her new eyes, looking around curiously. She wasn't surprised to find that the instinct of the animal - a baby snow leopard - was nagging at the back of her mind. She wanted to hunt! Sniffing the air, she smelt what the animal brain told her was rabbit, and she was on high alert to chase, pounce, and devour.

Shaking her head, her human mind had reminded her of class, and she let out a mixture between a meow and a purr, her way of asking the Slytherin to turn her back.

As Brooke turned in to a snow leopard, Josh raised an eyebrow. Better than a stupid rabbit, he figured. Giving the witch a moment to get a feel for being an animal, Josh looked around to see if anyone else was moving. Or perhaps the professor glaring at him. Not that it would bother him, he liked getting under her skin.

When a soft sound of the animal came to his ears, Josh flicked his wand towards the leopard, turning her back human again. This was much too easy, but Josh supposed this was the joy of Hogwarts, his mother always had said Hogwarts was not bringing out the potential in people. Perhaps the only thing they could agree on in life.

Without another word to the Gryffindor, Josh moved back to his seat, waiting to be dismissed.

After making sure her students were transformed back into their human form, she looked at the time to see that she needed to wrap up her class now and not later. "Okay, for those who need more help with this you can just ask me and I will set something up for you, as for the ones who had succeeded in doing this correctly, well done. Now there will be no homework tonight so you're free to go and I'll see you next week. Bye everyone" Rosalinda dismissed her students.
