Rosalinda vamp sped into her classroom, she didn't want to be late for her own class since it would be starting soon. Rosalinda didn't even have a chance to set up before her little timer went off indicating that class was in session and students would be coming in a few. The blonde thought that her class would enjoy the Human Transfiguration lesson she had planned. But then again some students would probably take advantage.

Brooke had taken her time to get to class, knowing that this time, she wouldn't be late. Finally she had gotten used to the lay out of the school building and was surprised to find that it was not at all complicated!

Walking into the class she took her seat in front, smiling at the Professor. "Good afternoon," she said cheerfully, secretly glad to note that she was the first student there.

Another year, another set of Transfiguration classes. Had it not been for the fact it was one of the core classes in the school, Josh wouldn't have bothered to take it. Still, the Slytherin knew the benefits such information would bring him, even if he didn't particularly see the usefulness of the spells.

Moving in to the class, Josh noted a fellow prefect and took up the seat behind her, waiting for the professor to begin. No words were spoken, much like last year, this professor did not deserve his attention.

Lucy was loving being back at school, and she loved her classes. So she was pretty pumped to go to Transfiguration, despite it not being her complete favourite class. She walked cheerily into the classroom and took her seat, greeting the teacher in her cheerful tone. She waited patiently for class to start.

Transfiguration was always intriguing to Cassidy. She really and truly enjoyed the subject. She felt a lot better about being back, feeling refreshed from summer. She had her usual lively attitude back, on the surface. She made her way to class and took an empty spot, happy to start the lesson.

Despite finding the class somewhat tedious and boring, Transfiguration was by far Jacoby's best subject. For some reason, the boy was just good at it. He knew that Jeremy had been shocked to find out that the rebellious teenager was actually good at something academically. 'The smug bastard' Jacoby thought to himself, not mentioning that he was just as bad as his father.

Walking into the classroom Jacoby flopped down in the first open seat still, a bit preoccupied with the mental grumbling he'd started at the thought of his father.

Alyson wasn't at all tired, even though she had stayed up until like three in the morning the night before. The Gryffindor had gotten so excited to be back at school that she was perfectly fine with getting up as early as she had and getting ready for her classes. The blonde walked into Transfiguration and took an empty seat. Now all she had to do was wait for the Professor.

Transfiguration, one of the most curious classes in Thana's opinion. She had decided to take it for the fact that she still had no idea what it was that she wanted to do, but she was still taking as much as she could. She walked in and sat down in the back of the classroom, she spotted a few people she recognized. The Professor was the head of her year, Thana didn't really know her yet, she couldn't even recall them ever talking either. Then she spotted the Slytherin Prefect, she thought her mind for his name. "Josh" that was it, Josh Murray. He was a cocky Slytherin, but he was at least entertaining. He obviously knew what he was doing in all of his classes, but his attitude was just like...Hers in a way. She sat down in the middle and looked around, still ...Transfiguration was boring, she knew almost everything they were teaching. It got a bit boring doing the same things over and over. She sat down and waited.

Transfiguration was a somewhat bizzarre topic, in Joe's mind. Sure, he'd known about magic for about six years now, but the thought that a person could simply change one thing into something else still somehow managed to baffle him. The thought was shaken off as the Hufflepuff strolled into the room and nodded a polite hello at their professor, before putting himself in an empty seat and taking out his usual equipment.

There weren't any particularly new faces in the room, he noticed. That didn't bother him, really. New people meant introductions and introductions meant talking and talking was just-... Joe didn't even want to get started. He idly doodled on the corner of a page as he waited for the lesson to start, untidy swirls becoming gradually more and more evident as the seconds ticked by.

Shiva was right on time with this class, she knew what time the Professor usually started it and was glad she had walked through the door before it hit the time of when class usually started. The dark haired girl liked this class in a lot of ways and was happy to be back so she could attend. Shiva missed seeing David around school but she was proud of him and what he was doing. Shiva took a seat.

The class turned out better then she thought, it wasn't packed but it wasn't empty either. Rosalinda waited a few more minutes before she decided that beginning the class would be better for everyone if she just did it all now. "Hello and welcome back to Hogwarts, I hope you had a good summer. Can anyone tell me what they know about Human Transfiguration?" Rosalinda asked.

"Human transfiguration is where a human transfigures some, or all, or their body in to that of an animal. It is known to be a difficult branch of magic, only tested in N.E.W.T. years normally. It is known to be like metamorphagus abilities, but should not be confused as animagus transformation at any point." Josh replied, making sure his answer was full despite his bored tones.

Honestly, why would anyone want to transfigure themselves in to vermin?

Rosalinda listened to Josh explain what she wanted to hear and even though you could tell he sounded bored, it was the right answer. "Correct Josh, 5 points to Slytherin" Rosalinda replied. "Like Josh just said human Transfiguration is something that is close to an animagus but is completely different. So for today we will be doing this spell, I would like two people to give this a try. I will be picking the two people, I would like Alyson and... Shiva to come give this a shot" Rosalinda waited for the two girls to come up.

Thana listened as two girls were picked out to do the spell. She was quite happy it wasn't her, Thana was happy to remain unnoticed and unseen. She found class boring anyway, god knows why she had to go to school. She could do all of the tests for her senior year today and still get 100%, so she looked bored at the best of times. It wasn't because she wasn't interested, it was because she already knew what they were doing. She pulled out one of her blank books and started drawing. Sketching a realistic looking version of Brooke as a half Pheonix, half human.

Alyson listened to what Professor Reese wanted her to do and Alyson was a little stunned she got chosen by the Professor. Not a lot of Professors would pick her and if they asked for volunteers, she was never quick enough or she just simply didn't want to do it. Now she was given a chance to actually do this. Alyson grabbed her wand and went towards the front and waited for the Hufflepuff girl to join her.

Jacoby hadn't ever heard of human transfiguration before, but he thought that idea sounded pretty cool. As the teacher went into detail about it he perked up paying rapt attention to the professor and the volunteers she chose, this could be something worthwhile for him to learn. He did make a mental note to find someone and ask about the process of becoming an animagus, because now that he thought about it that was definitely something he wanted to learn.

Shiva was deep in thought about what they were going to be doing that day. Human Transfiguration? That seemed both fun and difficult in her opinion. The Hufflepuff was taken from her thoughts by Professor Reese saying her name and a girl name Alyson's name. The Hufflepuff realized it was time for her to demonstrate the lesson with the young Gryffindor girl. Shiva met the girl up by the front. "You can go" Shiva wanted to learn from what the girl was doing.

Alyson watched as Shiva joined her up in front and Alyson listened to Shiva allow her to go first. Alyson was a little nervous, she didn't want to screw the spell up and have something bad happen to Shiva, that would hurt Alyson. The Gryffindor took a deep breath before she performed the Human Transfiguration spell on Shiva. Alyson was a little afraid on how it would turn out for the Hufflepuff.

Shiva felt the spell working its magic and she was really hoping that nothing bad happened during the Transition. When Shiva opened her eyes (she didn't even know she closed them) she saw that Alyson was taller then her. Then Shiva realized the spell worked and she was now a pet. Shiva saw from a reflection that she was a cute little dark brown puppy.

Rosalinda watched as her two students that she let do the spell begin and the Hufflepuff girl was now a puppy. "Good job Alyson" Rosalinda sent a smile to the girl. With a flick of her wand the Hufflepuff girl was now her regular self before she got turned into a puppy by the Gryffindor's spell. "Shiva, you may proceed to repeat the spell on Alyson" Rosalinda gestured for her to begin.

Shiva felt herself being transformed into her normal human self and she listened to Professor Reese as she said for her to repeat the same spell but on Alyson. Shiva took out her wand and had to admit she was a little nervous for this to happen, she didn't want to screw up the spell and have it kill Alyson or something. Shiva pointed her wand at the blonde in front of her and performed the spell.

Alyson smiled as she got the spell correct and when Professor Reese transformed Shiva back into her human form, Alyson knew it would be her turn to be turned into something. A few seconds later she felt the spell hit her and the next thing you know she had paws. Of course Alyson had to be a white fluffy cat. She could see the reflection through the window and she looked at the Professor, she wanted to be human again.

As the demonstration was finished, Josh got to his feet and moved to the Gryffindor prefect he'd had patrolled with. "Walters, you're working with me." Josh intoned, moving to the space at the back knowing she would follow. He didn't care to wait for Professor Reese, she was useless anyway.

"Ladies first, I believe." Josh insisted, waiting for the witch to have her go.

After the demonstration, Brooke had remained at her place, waiting for further instructions. But before their Professor could give any form of acknowledgment to the class to continue the lesson, a familiar face had approached her.

"Walters, you're working with me."

Startled, Brooke nodded, following him to the back of the class. She knew enough to know not to disobey the Slytherin, and although she was curious as to why he hadn't waited for their Professor, she didn't ask why.

"Ladies first, I believe."

Taking out her wand, she pointed it at the Slytherin and casted the required spell, waiting for it to take effect.

Thana watched as the two girls completed the spell, watching bored. She still wanted to figure out what to do with herself once she finished school, but still had no idea. Hence, this was one of the classes that she signed up for, she wouldn't of minded having a go but at the same time it didn't actually interest her. Instead she was happy to watch the others, watching and noticing who was good at it and who wasn't. This class, like her others, bored her. She didn't bother trying to partner up with anyone either, happy to just watch.
