Charms (4th-6th years)

Katherine knew that this lesson would be sort of tricky and she had gotten permission to use the spell she was going to teach to her students. The blonde walked into the classroom and waited for her students to arrive, she didn't know who would come back to her classroom this year, but she was hoping for some sort of great progress with her classes. Katherine had a feeling some of her students heard of this spell, but she wasn't completely sure. Their lesson was on the Levicorpus charm.

Walking into the classroom, Diem saw only one other student there and she looked younger then Diem herself. The young girl didn't look like a fifth year so she was probably a fourth year. "Hello" Diem greeted with a smile. The brunette took a seat and looked around the classroom. She hadn't taken Charms yet but she had heard that Charms was a good class.

After entering class and taking a seat in the front, Janique greeted the professor before leaning back in her chair. She wondered if Callum was going to be taking charms, as they had never actually discussed lessons before. She hoped not; she wanted at least one class to herself, not having to tailor everything she did to suit him.

A grin started to form when she saw what that day's lesson was to be on: the Levicorpus charm. This was the exact reason she liked charms - she could learn all sorts of offensive spells to add to her knowledge. This was going to be a fun lesson.

Apollo had done quite well in Charms the previous year, even got student of the year along with his little sister. His parents weren't really shocked when Ares didn't win for Wormwood because he liked goofing off while Apollo and Aphrodite liked to be learning and actually participating. Apollo got to the classroom and saw that he was once again the only male. "Hello ladies" he greeted for the second time that day. Apollo took an empty seat.

Michelle ineeded to go and learn new things. So she soon ended up walking into the charms classroom. She saw there few students and professor. Shw gteeted them all and then sat down somewhere middle. She basically didn't lnow anyone in this class, few people she have seen around but never really talked much. All what she had to do right now was that to wait class to start and te fun to begin for them. She had read about that spell.nefore, she is sure but not surehow much she remembers.

Aphrodite still couldn't believe she was now 14 and was a fourth year. It just meant that sooner or later her school years were going to come to an end and Aphrodite was afraid of that happening. She loved being a teenager and in school, but eventually she was going to have to grow up and that frightened her a bit. Aphrodite took a second before walking into the classroom and taking an empty seat.

Henley was totally not looking forward to this class either, the woman teaching it was a little too cheery for her and that wasn't a good thing. Professor Harrisson was always in a good or happy mood and it annoyed the Nightshade really bad. Henley walked into the class and took an empty seat and tried so hard to not throw something at someone.

Katherine watched as her students walked into her classroom and she had to admit that she was glad for this many students entering her classroom. Some looked like they didn't want to be there but that didn't matter to her. She began class. "Hello and welcome back, I hope you enjoyed your summer, today's lesson will be on the Levicorpus charm, I know you're probably going over it in DADA but can anyone tell me what this Charm is?" Katherine asked her students.

Professor Harrisson began her class and the blonde haired girl just realized her older brother was in the class. 'How did I miss that?' She asked herself. Aphrodite heard what the Professor asked and raised her hand to answer. "It is a Charm that hangs someone upside down by their ankles" the Belladonna answered. Aphrodite had heard of the spell a few times and knew that her Uncle had used it once before.

When Katherine asked her question she waited to see who would answer. She didn't have to wait long because Aphrodite Oxton answered the correct answer and when she finished answering, Katherine nodded. "That is correct Aphrodite, 10 points to Belladonna and Jackson 5 points for the history update, but yes like he said it isn't really popular nowadays. Now for five points towards their house, can someone who is not Aphrodite tell me who was the creator of the Charm?" Katherine asked.

Katherine waited to see who would be the person who would answer her question, when it was Victoria who answered, Katherine felt proud in the younger years. They knew their stuff and that was good for her because she could trust them with this kind of stuff. "Correct as always Victoria, 5 points to Wormwood. Now today we will be doing this Charm. I need two volunteers to come and saw me if you can do this spell. So who are going to be the two?" Katherine waited for the first two volunteers.

Diem listened to everyone's answers and was a little shocked to see Jax in the class, but she let that go. When Professor Harrisson asked for two volunteers, Diem thought about it and decided that she'd give it a shot. "I'll volunteer" Diem got up from her seat and went towards the front of the class and stood by her Charms Professor. Diem didn't fear this spell at all.

Katherine waited to see who would volunteer and when she had Diem and Victoria both volunteer, she was glad for that. The blonde thought that she would have to pick two people because this wasn't really a spell that should be taught for the first time without supervision. "Well Victoria you both will have a chance to do it. To see who needs help and who doesn't, if you both get it done correctly then you both will be fine. Since you're younger Victoria, you can go first" Katherine moved out of the way so they had room to do their assignment.

Diem listened as Professor Harrisson said that Victoria would go first and then it would be Diem's turn. The brunette held her skirt so that she didn't show anyone what was underneath and wait for Victoria to hit her with the spell. When Victoria said the incantation, Diem felt herself being lifted and before she knew it, she was hanging upside down looking at the young Wormwood. "Good job" Diem said. 'Thank god I held the skirt' she thought to herself.

Katherine watched as Victoria got Diem into the air hanging upside down. Katherine should have used males to demonstrate this spell because of the fact the girls wore skirts, but it looked like Diem had a smart idea and held down her skirt so no one saw what was underneath. Victoria softly placed Diem back on her feet. "Very good Victoria, now Diem it is your turn."

Diem was placed back onto the ground and Diem fixed herself a bit before she took out her wand and pointed it at Victoria. "Levicorpus" Diem watched as Victoria was consumed by the spell and was lifted into the air. The brunette kept the concentration before she aloud Victoria's feet to be aloud to touch the ground one more time. Diem looked to the Professor waiting for the further instructions on what the two girls had to do now.

Katherine watched as Diem placed Victoria on the ground softly and Katherine clapped a bit. "Good job girls, you both did amazing today, you both will be free to sit down and watch everyone else do this. You can talk to one another if you want but try not to interrupt the others. As for everyone else, find a partner and do this spell. If you need my help just ask and I will assist you as much as possible. Please begin."

Apollo watches as his fellow Nightshade Prefect and the young Wormwood girl both do the spell correctly and they both have a seat. Apollo listens as Katherine wants them to perform this spell with a partner, Apollo instantly goes over to his little sister and pulls her up by the arm gently so he didn't hurt her. "Come on little sister, you're going to be my partner for this assignment" Apollo said as he pulled her to a good spot for them to practice.
