Need a Break (Shawn)

Lucy generally didn't stress. But with prefect duties, and a load of school work, plus the pressure she put herself under to actually try at school, and to go really, really well, of course she felt slightly frazzled. She hadn't always been such a worrier about things, there was a time when she was always really relaxed, and calm, but now she wasn't sure what was happening. Perhaps she had repressed too much stress over the years, and now it was bursting out.

But, if one thing was certain, she needed a time-out.

So, she casually took a stroll in the lush, dark forest. The temperature was cooling right down as Autumn began to end, with the air sharp and damp.It definitely was calming to her. So nice just to get away from the pressure that she put herself under, and to relax in the charms of the forest.

Shawn knew how hard Lucy had been working herself lately, which is why he'd suggested that she take some time to relax for once. It had taken some convincing, but eventually he'd gotten her to agree to hanging out in the forbidden forest with him. To be honest he had been working just as hard as she was and was looking forward to time to simply enjoy her company. With all the prefect duties and schoolwork it felt like they barely got to see each other sometimes.

It was a beautiful day, and before long Shawn saw Lucy walking in the forest ahead of him. As it always did upon seeing her, a grin made its way onto his face. How he ever got such an amazing girlfriend was beyond him, but he wasn't going to complain about it. He snuck up behind her and wrapped his arms around her in a hug. "Hello sweetie."

The forest was quiet for the most part, save for the small movements of animals and insects, and a slight breeze ruffling leaves. She jumped and let out a squeal as she felt someone's arms encase her in a bear hug. She was entirely surprised, but smiled as she turned as saw that it was Shawn.

"Hello sweetie."

"Hello love," she grinned and pecked a kiss on his cheek. It was good to see him, they never seemed to have time anymore. She imagined that next year would be even worse with the workload, but now she would just enjoy what spare time she did have with him.
