With another lesson coming around, Jake readied himself for the first of the day with the younger years. Hopefully it would be more successful than the last class, Jake hoped, he would just have to hope some of the more competent students would be here.

Turning to the board, Jake took up a piece of chalk and wrote the words "Tickling Charm" on the board. With that done, the professor moved to the front of his desk, surveying the empty room and waiting for students to arrive.

Brayden messed up the previous lesson and felt awful for that but he was going to make up for it by attending this lesson and making up for his mistake. When he got there he saw he was the only student there. Brayden didn't care because that just meant he wasn't late. "Morning" he greeted. He took a seat and waited for someone else tp arrive.

It was time for the DADA class again, and Gillian was pretty excited. At first she didn't like those kind of classes because they were practical, and she felt that being a muggleborn, she would have a disadvantage with the other students that came from magical families, but after a few classes, she could see that there wasn't any problem with being a muggleborn, she just had to understand the way the spell worked. Besides, her DADA professor was amazingly sarcastic, which was always a great plus; and he was also a great teacher, knowing how and when to encourage her.

Walking with a light step, she reached the classroom, and entered, noticing again that there weren't any chairs or desks in the room. With a smile, she went to a corner and left her bag with all of her books and other school supplies, putting on top her school robe; she had noticed that when it came to this specific class, not having the robe on made things easier. Turning around, she looked at the only other person in the classroom and beamed at him "good morning prof. Newbury!" she said, not knowing what else to say to address the professor; she was still awkward when it came to other people, despite liking him a lot.

Jake didn't have to wait long for the first two students to arrive. Two familiar faces, Jake noted to himself as they both greeted him. "Good morning, both of you." Jake replied, checking his watch for a moment, waiting for the second hand to get back to twelve, signalling the start of the lesson.

"Okay ladies and gentlemen, lets begin, shall we?" Jake commented, standing up from his desk. "Today we will be learning about the Tickling Charm. Can you each give me something you know about the charm? Aside from the obvious." Jake added, knowing that Brayden always liked to give him the obvious answer, it would be better to test the boy, make him work for the grades.

OOC: There are no desks or chairs in Jake's room unless otherwise stated. Please make note of this for future classes.

Ares ran to class because he was late, he knew Jake was a cool guy but he wasn't sure if he'd accept lateness in his class. The Wormwood was sprinting down the corridor to try and get to class. When he got closer he stopped and walked into the classroom. He grimaced when he saw the class had already started. "I'm so sorry Jake, it won't happen again" Ares walked towards where Brayden and Gillian were standing.

"I'm so sorry Jake, it won't happen again"

"It's fine." Jake replied to the boy, noting his genuine apology and knowing the boy wasn't normally late. So long as he didn't make a habit of it, Jake wasn't going to anger. "We're studying the tickling charm today, so if you know anything about the spell, please share with the class." Jake added so that the boy knew where they were up to in the lesson so far.

Alec was sprinting down the hallway. He didn't want to be late! Alec was reading and lost track of time. He knew he shouldn't of brought his Muggle books. Alec hoped he wouldn't get in trouble for running he used to at Muggle Schools. Alec slowed down before he entered the class room. "I'm really sorry I'm late. I lost track of time." Alec said in between breaths. He probably shouldn't of mentioned the fact that he lost track of time but he didn't feel like coming up with an excuse. Alec walked over by the other students. They looked older then him. Alec finally caught his breath and he glanced around the room. Alec felt out of place.

"I'm really sorry I'm late. I lost track of time."

"Not a problem, Alec." Jake acknowledged after a quick check of his register for the boy's name. It was nice to see new faces in the classes, Jake thought. "We're studying the tickling charm today, so if you know anything about the spell, please share with the class." The professor added a moment later.

It didn't seem like anyone wanted to answer his question so far, so perhaps the new addition would give Jake something to work with.
