Task 1: When attacked by a Dementor what do you do?

A/N: All three of you must also fight off one each with the spell to move on

Victoria had listened to the professor and had to admit she was quite nervous. It was a test, but the witch was ready to give it her best shot. Moving to the entrance of the maze, Victoria read the note and physically paled as she noted the first task.

She'd never been taught the Patronus Charm, she wasn't even sure if she could. Sliding her wand from her pocket, Victoria looked over her shoulder at the other two witches. "Ready?" She asked nervously, hoping the other two would go first.

OOC: Kat, Victoria is physically incapable of producing a Patronus Charm (seeing as this is the most complicated spell in the series and not everyone is capable) so I don't know what you want me to do. PM me?

Charlie listened to what had to be done and followed both Victoria and Henley to the entrance. The Wormwood didn't want to screw up and do something completely wrong and take down her team. Charlie had her wand out just in case something happened. "I'll go first" Charlie offered as she took the lead. She was the oldest of the three so it was only necessary. Not even a second later did three dementors come. "Be ready girls!" She said to her teammates. "Expecto Patronum" Charlie watched as the one dementor that she hit got blasted and left.

Victoria watched Charlie attempt the spell, nervously trying to rack her brains for the information. Happy memories, yes, that was what this spell required. And the incantation... Expecto Patronum as Charlie had said. With a small, but nervous smile, Victoria took out her wand and readied herself to have a go. The Dementor was bearing down on the young witch now, and for a moment she froze.

Jake's smile as he returned to the hospital room after her operation came to mind. The worry from his features left almost instantly as he saw that she was perfectly fine. His shoulders relaxed and he embraced her in such a loving manner it felt like the Jake she'd known years before had come back. The way he'd refused to leave her side as they spoke about everything they were going to do together, just as they always had.

How it had felt to make her first few steps with Azalea to get her hair brush. The thrill in the witch's eyes from the accomplishment. But once again Jake's smile, that bore no limits and the way he'd embraced both of them.

The memories filled Victoria with glee, and she swished her wand in the manner she'd seen Charlie do it. "Expecto Patronum!" The witch spoke boldly, clearly, waiting for the light to emanate from her wand. But... nothing happened and the young Wormwood began to panic. The Dementor was getting closer. "Ex-Expecto Patronum!" She tried again, once more nothing happened, and a small squeak of fear left the witch. The Dementor was bearing down on her and Victoria could feel despair filling the space that only a moment ago had been filled with glee.

Everything was starting to lose it's focus...

OOC: Victoria is on the verge of fainting, but won't faint - please have one of the other students knock the Dementor away for her.
