| After combining all classes for his first lesson, Lucas was getting excited about teaching individually. He had first through to fourth years in one class, it was going to be interesting no doubt about that. He arrived at his classroom and started getting set up, he had spoken with a few people, asking a few questions. He knew his students a little bit now, and was happy with all of them.
Lucas set up for his lesson, flicking his wand to the chalkboard and writing. "Alchemy, a further knowledge. Individual projects. Lucas wanted this lesson to be about the students, he flicked his wand and set up the classroom for practical use. He liked his room to be deliberate and useful, he opened a few windows for fresh air.
Finally Lucas wrote on the board again, this time writing underneath his original sentence. Please get out your textbook, titled "Alchemy Intermediate Practices" then when everything was ready he finally sat down and waited for his students to come.

| The last Alchemy lesson had been meh, but Violet continued with the subject because of the potential it gave her. It was certainly useful to have up one's sleeve. So she made her way to the class, not particularly excited, but not dreading it in any way. As she entered the classroom, she noted the board and took a seat, taking out her equipment for the lesson. | |

| To the young witch, Alchemy seemed a wondrous subject. So she decided to pick it up to test it out. She knew the basics of it, what was generally studied, and it just fascinated her. She made her way to the classroom "Morning Professor," she murmured as she walked in and took a seat in the front row. Upon reading the instructions on the board, she took out the text book she'd bought for the lesson and readied herself. | |

| Lucas watched as two students arrived, it would only be a small class but Lucas didn't mind. It meant that more could get done.
"Welcome Miss Violet, Miss Natasha, as you can see. Today it is just the two of you so far, but it only means you can get more done. Now as you have read on the board, it is individual projects. Today I just want you to pick something out of your book, Alchemy Intermediate Practices and attempt to complete it, I do not mind what it is you do.
Once you have chosen something, feel free to go to the bookshelf. There you will find the book you need, everything that is listed in your book. The instructions to it can be found in a book on the shelf." Lucas told the two students,
"Now if you need help feel free to ask, and don't just take the easy way out. Try something that not only interests you, but gives you a bit of a challenge as well. Everything is open for you today, so make the most of it. All ingredients can be found on the shelf, there may be a few restricted ingredients. However I am more than happy to give them to you today." Lucas said the Violet and Natasha.

| Violet listened to the instructions for the lesson, and was pleased that there was no strict set work. She flipped through her book, to see what sort of things were available for her to do. She found something about purifying iron ore and stuck with that. She gathered all the ingredients she needed and started the extraction and purifying process, completing it well. | |

| Natasha flipped through her book eagerly to look for what to do, with the instructions of the professor. She found an interesting article with practical Alchemy in it, which involved turning stones into gems. This enticed her enough to decided to try her hand at it. She got up and got all her equipment and ingredients ready quickly and quietly and followed the method in the book. | |

| Lucas watched as the two girls got to work. Quickly the lesson passed. He got up and let them know time was up.
"Thankyou two girls for attending. If you need some time to finish let me know, also if either of you are interested there will be a special class for anyone really interested in Alchemy.
It would be a good idea to attend if you are thinking of doing Potions or Healing when you leave school, if not it will still be a good extra lesson to attend. Please just write an essay of what you did, it doesn't have to be long. And I advise you study for next period. It is the last one, there will be a test. That's it. Class dismissed. " Lucas said to the two girls.
Violet Lynch. 20 pts for attendance + 5 for work. Natasha Stonem. 20 pts for attendance + 5 for work.
Thankyou two girls. You are tied for this lesson.
