Teaching wasn't so bad. It really wasn't. Or at least, that's what James was trying to tell himself. It didn't help that his confidence in front of them was mostly an act. After all, despite his accomplishments, he was still pretty shy. Added to that, he was only 19, so the higher the grades got, the closer to his own age the students became, and the more difficult it would be to assert authority. At least he knew that Victoria would be in this class and he'd be able to count on her to set a good example.

Turning to the board, he wrote 'Professor James Reonalds' on it in his loopy cursive, and just under it, he wrote 'Choose a partner.' He planned to asses their skills and confidence level by having them choose a potion to brew, a poison anti-dote. He opened the door and waited for the students to arrive.

Mycroft Holmes' classes were among the finest Victoria had known, of course, the man frightened Victoria, but that only made her work harder. Skipping down to the dungeons, Victoria was in an especially good mood knowing her favourite class was finally here. As the young witch opened the door, ready to greet their professor, the witch froze, her mouth dropping and her eyes going wide.

James Reonalds.

Teaching.

Potions.

"J-James!" Victoria breathed, hurrying to her place at the front of class. "I... Wow! This is going to be so much fun!" The witch gushed, taking out the copy of potions book they'd both worked on. "And antidotes! Good choice, very good choice!" She continued, still trying to get her head around the whole thing. More people needed to come to class, pronto.

Michelle decided to take potions class this year so now she was walking towards it. That wasn't her strongest subject but she still was good at doing potions, she has done them few times. Actually none of classws what requied magic wasn't really her strongest ones since she is still learning that all.

She soon walked into classroom and saw there new teacher right now. And also just one girl in class, she was yonger than her but in same house. "Hello," she said and took a seat, not next to that girl. She didn't know her. She now looked at the board and saw notice there. She hoped some more students to come this class now.

Potions was a necessity for Callum. Not only did his parents expect him to take it, he also made himself take it. It was useful. And also just an enjoyable subject. He walked through to the classroom and took his seat, slinging his bag off the back of his chair before he got all of his stuff ready for the lesson. "Hi Sir," he acknowledged the young-looking Professor.

Entering the potions classroom, Jani was surprised to see such a young Professor. Hopefully he was a good teacher. Noticing the instructions on the board, and scanning the room to see who was there, she walked over to Callum. "Want to be my partner?" she asked with a small smile.

Not waiting for an answer, she put her bag down and slid into the seat. "Hello Professor Reonalds," she said, removing her notebook and quill. Turning back to Callum, she added, "Rather interesting topic, don't you think?"

James returned the greetings of his students, grinning when Vic entered. "Hello Miss Newbury," he said, using her last name with a cheeky smile. He knew any class with the excitable Wormwood was bound to be interesting, not to mention loads of fun and a lot easier to handle his nervousness in.

Once a few more students had entered the room, James left the door open, but began class. "Hello, my name, as you've read, is Professor Reonalds. I'm covering for Professor Holmes while he is away. Today, you and a partner will be creating an antidote potion of your choice. You can choose as easy or as hard of a potion as you like, but house points will be awarded for complicated potions that are made correctly. Keep in mind that it must be a potion. For example, while a bezoar will stop most poisons, it would not get you any points on this assignment. You have the rest of the class period, so please begin. Bring your potion up to me in a vial when it's completed."

At the mention of a partner, Victoria looked around the room. She decided it was quite likely that Janique was going to partner Callum, seeing as they were sat together, so Victoria got up from her place and moved to Michelle. "Hi, I'm Victoria... Would you like to work with me?" The young witch asked, looking up at the older witch with a hopeful smile. She liked group work, it was the perfect opportunity to make new friends.

So she could only hope the older Wormwood would agree.

When professor said that they need to work in pairs then she wasn't sure with who she could work together. But then one younger year girl Victoria came to her and asked if they could be partners, she looked at her and nodded. "Sure we can be. I don't mind," she said back to her then with smile. "Okay, do you have any ideas what antidote potion we are going to do?" she asked then from her.

"Okay, do you have any ideas what antidote potion we are going to do?"

Victoria grinned at the older girl as she agreed, before explaining. "I wanted to try to do the Antidote for Uncommon Poisons, do you think that would be okay?" The younger Wormwood asked, looking up at the girl hopefully. It was a third year potion, one Victoria knew well, but she wanted to show that though picking a hard potion was more likely to get them points, picking a simpler potion and getting it perfect was just as good a feat.

"If you get the ingredients, I will ready the cauldron." Victoria added, doing exactly as she said.

There really was no excuse for being late to potions seeing as the class was two doors away from the common room, except that Jax really didn't want to go to it. Even his newfound resolution to at least try gave a final beat the morning his timetable read potions, though it wasn't so much his usual attitude towards class that spurred the reaction as much as the tiny printed name beside the class.

J. Reonalds.

Jackson had been twelve when the whole American Hero Saves the World storm had hit the media. Before the papers made Reonalds out to be some genius, he just looked like another dorky Wormwood except that he hung out with Miss Azalea a lot.

Seeing the weird, soft boy turned into a national hero had made Jackson think for a moment that people like himself stood a chance too. If James could do it, so could a Jax Blake from a town no one had ever heard of.

And then the stupid genius had gotten himself killed or whatever and now he was back. The Nightshade didn't care for the drama really, but James' initial disappearance had effectively killed any last bit of optimism Jackson had been stupid enough to carry around at twelve.

And now he was back and teaching potions? Is that what people came back from the dead for? To teach a bunch of brats like him?

Sneaking into class quietly, the boy murmured an apology that could have been missed as him clearing his throat. His mood was worsened further when he saw people pairing up.

Joys, it was a good thing Jakcson was used to being a third wheel.

Michelle thought a little bit and then nodded. "We totally can do it," she said with smile to Victoria. She didn't had any better idea in her mind. So that was main reaso why she agree doing it. "Yes I can go and get ingredients," she said and stood up then.

Soon she was back with neeses ingriedients for this antidote. She placed them on table and she tried to remember what they should do next. She didn't had her book with her today, so she couldn't look it up but ingriedents she remembered. She have done it more than once. Most potions she have done more than once.

As the door opened, Victoria looked up to see Jax and sent him a small wave. Noting there was no one for him to partner, the Wormwood beckoned him over. "You can join us, Jax, we don't mind you helping us!" Victoria insisted, giving the boy a warm smile and making some more space for Jax to join them.

It was just as Michelle got back with the ingredients and Victoria smiled at the older Wormwood. "Okay, so would you like to brew, or prepare the ingredients?" Victoria asked, she didn't mind which, the brewing was more fun, but she didn't mind cutting up the ingredients either.

Michelle didn't mind it at all whe  Jax joins with them. She thought a lite bit before she decided to answer for Victoria's question. "You can brew. I'll prepare ingredients," she answered with smile. She was better at preparing ingredients than brewing the potion or potions. It haven't been never her strongest one and she will never really be good at it. She intresest more about drawing, singing and other creative things but not making potions. Even if they can be creative ones sometimes.

"Rather interesting topic, don't you think?"

He nodded "Very interesting," and smirked at Janique. He listened to the task given, to make an antidote. He assumed he'd be with Janique and opened his book to look for a potion to make "How about we make a Cure for Boils?" he asked "Simple enough, and if we brew it exceptionally, we'll go well. Plus, it's hard for us to mess it up," he smiled.

Diem walked into potions, she knew she was late and didn't really have any excuse, all she could do is try and beg for forgiveness for being late to a class that was gladly being taught instead of abandoned. Diem got there and walked inside. "I am so sorry Professor for being late, I promise it won't happen again" Diem said honestly. She took a seat not knowing what to do now, hopefully she caught on quickly.
