Personality: Lydia is a very drawn-back person, she is shy and doesn't open up easily. When she makes friends she is very dependant on them and she is very awkward in social situations. She does everything silently and is not a big fan of asking for help, or asking for anything in general. She only opens up if she's close with someone and she is very easily upset. She is more possessive than she lets on.
Background: Lydia grew up in a family of nine people, having six siblings. Her house was on four floors - therefore huge, but they had a maid who also took care of the kids so Lydia didn't spend much time with her parents. Of her siblings she's the most socially awkward one and the silent one, whilst her siblings mess around and are loud, she always preferred to stay inside her room with her books.
Lydia enjoys learning and transfiguration is her favourite subject though she finds it hard, she writes her parents letters every week, even if she didn't spend much time with them at home for they're really busy, but her mother who is a muggle is ver fascinated with the wizarding world.

Family Background: All of the young siblings have shown wizarding abilities, even the youngest one Clara, who is only on nine years. Their mother, Catharine, is a muggle but their father, William, a wizard. Catharine met William when she was nineteen years old and witnessed him and his friends do magic tricks while drunk. She was immediately fascinated by his talents and spent the entire night trying to get him to show her how he had done his trick. They became very close and a few months into their relationship he admitted his magical abilities to her, instead of being frightened she was fascinated and her fascination over the wizarding world has not wavered yet.
